Curiosity is the most important human quality for today, which must not only be preserved in oneself, but also cultivated in every possible way.
Curiosity, that is, the desire for knowledge, allows you to maintain an interest in life and its new facets, expands knowledge and horizons, enriches experience.
An important feature of curiosity is that it always leads to action. And action generates all other consequences. Even curiosity itself can be trained through action.
In life, there is boredom, fatigue, apathy, depression, and emotional burnout… It is quite difficult to force yourself to be interested in something or to be happy about something in such a situation. Moving forward is difficult, and what to do is unclear.
And curiosity makes it possible to perform simple actions, even without inspiration, on autopilot. But they will trigger important life consequences.
Have you come across a new word… encountered something incomprehensible or unknown… a question arose about how something works… You may be lazy or not interested, but as part of maintaining your curiosity, you can negotiate with yourself about a simple action that does not require anything additional from yourself. Namely, make a query for this word and see what it means.
The search will immediately show the definition of the word, examples, visual images and videos on it. Just as an appetite comes with eating, so an interest in a given topic can be aroused while reading or watching a video. And the request itself forms the skill of curiosity. Even if interest does not arouse, the only important thing is that you, having succumbed to curiosity or cultivating it in yourself, took an action and learned something new on this topic. Then you can close the page and return to your current business.
If the topic turns out to be interesting, then reading the detailed materials that will be offered in abundance by links or a search engine will give deeper insights into this phenomenon, allow, on occasion, to apply it in life, try new things in personal practice, meet new people from this field, even if in absentia. The chain of consequences will begin to unwind the flywheel of your actions, shaping your life Path.
Perhaps, while studying the material, you will come across new words that you do not know. They need to be approached recursively.
