About the difficulties of achieving the ideal

The evening after dinner, you’re sitting in perfect balance of the food you’ve eaten. You even planned in advance what you would eat today, made sure that these were the most suitable foods, and withstood all the temptations during the day and ate exactly what you were going to.

You‘re in perfect balance, in perfect condition but you want something else.…

It’s good for yogis, they can sit like this all the time, but what about normal people?

They say that “The ideal is not achievable”… But why? Because when you reach the ideal, you want to do one more action, do it and… at the end of the day you miss without hitting the ideal point.

My food temptations followed the path of reducing the price of the error: sweets and chocolates > fruits > vegetables then a new chain appeared: ice cream > bread > milk.

If you go to the grocery store, what should you choose? And how to minimize this “greedy micro-crisis”?

The important skill of writing down the right products before coming to the store has long been mastered. While you’re planning at home, you can choose what you want and write it down on a piece of paper. But in the store you can only buy what is written on the piece of paper.…

Then you need to choose the minimum from the chain, that is, milk. But I already drank it today.

I’m trying to figure it out – exceeding the milk dose is the way to… kidney stones.

And if it’s fruit? Let’s say grapes! But I’ll buy a kilogram, and the daily norm is 150 grams, and excess is sugar, vascular destruction, diabetes.…

And if it’s greasy?.. We’re talking about excess, which means it’s a path to a heart attack.…

And now you’re sitting at a point of perfect balance, surrounded by a choice between diabetes, heart attack, and kidney stones.…

In general, I defeated myself – I went to drink tea!
